Mosque

I’ve been rebuilding every part of my temple
Since the world made me knock it down
I’ve found bricks in my skin
And torn them out so not too waste
your wealth I’ve cracked
earth and claimed it as family
who’ve worried of my health

I’ll build till it shines
And only name it once it stands
Break my ribs, crack my skin
And tear more out of me
As when my temple stands tall again
I will lie still to mend
