3.4.14 Passing Friends

We each know a person
We see once a year
Yet wonder how we live without them
For the time with them is so enjoyable
You seem attached like soul mates
Yet you wait a year, and never talk
Until you meet again and become inseparable

A passing friend
The kind you know that will always be with you if you need them
Someone who understands that although you may not talk
May forget about them until their face lights up again
It just all doesn’t matter
You two live in the present
Embody what it means to be present friends
To only have each other when you know you can
When you can touch and feel
