26.1.14 your fragile life

We used to have that pop as kids
An energy we can see these days
and wonder how they don’t shut down
This constant push doesn’t phase them
They don’t hear the audible screams
just the high pitched buzzing

It was only time that kept us
from noticing the crack under everything
a splitting of the mind
an aging and rusting of our devices
that kept us balanced
broken with an ear infection and
difficult life

In the end we’d finally snap
See all the dents and bangs
that happened along the way
how we thought they were just cosmetic
no real damage done
until they all bundled up
and broke the netting of
your fragile life
